Rock Art on the Ring of Kerry

I recently climbed An Cnoc Riabhach (the grey hill) near Ballaghbeama Gap in the Heart of Kerry and and pleasantly came across this table like rock with the Ancient circle drawings called Rock Art. As kids in Waterville I remember seeing it and being told the Fairies did it. So its time to inquire and find out more as there are over 50 Prehistoric Rock Art locations in and around the Ring of Kerry many dating back to the Bronze Age as early as 2,500 BC. Many have been well worn by the Weather and the elements, but I bet there are many more examples to be uncovered in the future which are presently protected my grass and earth. Do the circles represent the night sky and possibly the Stars, the hole or bowl in the middle could be Earth, its hard to know but it is a common type of symbolic drawings seemingly found in Ireland, Scotland, Wales, England and Spain.
